K-Surfer is a novel and unique software plugin for KNIME for the management and analysis of FreeSurfer brain MRI data. K-Surfer consists of a suite of KNIME nodes that perform several tasks, such as importing diffusion data generated from TRACULA, importing morphological measures obtained from the segmentation and reconstruction of neuroimages and visualising the probability distribution of white matter pathways.
K-Surfer has been presented during the “Special Session on Neuroimaging Data Processing Strategies” of The 2014 International Conference on Brain Informatics and Health, 11-14 August/Warsaw, Poland [1] and at the INCF, NeuroInformatics 2014, 25-27 August/Leiden, the Netherlands [2].
It is free for download here.
